The Voices4Cowper Candidate Expressions of Interest have now closed
After listening to almost 800 people in our Kitchen Table Conversations and Community Survey, we have heard loud and clear that people want better representation in Federal Parliament.
Community feedback strongly indicates that the current representative is not responding to the issues and concerns of the Cowper community.
People have expressed the desire for a representative who listens to the community and then acts according to what the community values, rather than prioritising the interests of their political party.
Therefore we have invited expressions of interest from people who meet this brief, a resident of Cowper who has:
- demonstrated connection to community
- effective listening and communication skills
- demonstrated commitment to openness, transparency and integrity
- commitment to evidence-based solutions to problems facing our community
- demonstrated ability to collaborate and negotiate to achieve positive outcomes
- demonstrated achievement in their work and/or community life.
